Localisation checks

The term "Localisation" is the generic term for all the parameters linked to your actual business geographical requirements. Depending on where you are living in the world those parameters can vary. The parameters include: Language, Currency, Countries, Zones, Geo-zones, Tax rates, Weight class, Length Class and so on ...

Languages:
English (en-gb) is the default built-in language. If you don't need it, simply Disable it, but do not Remove it!
Language files are composed of two distinct groups: Admin Language files and Catalog Language files. They are independant from each other so you dont need to have both to use them, however it is recommended to have both sides installed.
An unlimited number of Languages can be added. To add a new Language, you need to obtain a compatible Language Pack and upload it on your NivoCart server. Once uploaded, you can then setup a new entry for it in your Admin.

Currencies:
GBP, USD and EUR are the default built-in currencies. If you don't need them, simply Disable them, but do not Remove them!
Currencies do not required any additional files as the rates are obtained automatically once a day. They need you however to setup a new entry in your Admin.

Locations:
If your business is also of "brick and mortar" and has more than one outlet, this feature can be useful to you as you can enter the characteristics of each one of your branches here, including GPS location, image and opening times.
Once created, branches will be displayed in your product form in "Stock Location" under the Data tab, and if selected, will also be displayed on the product page in the Catalog.
Branches will also appear in the Contact Us page.

Stock Statuses:
Installed by default, they list the various stock states. More can be added if required.

Order Statuses:
Installed by default, they list the various order states. More can be added if required.

Returns:
Return Statuses, Return Actions and Return Reasons are the 3 requirements to manage products returns in your store.
Installed by default, they list the various return states, return actions and return reasons. More can be added if required.

Taxes:
Tax Classes and Tax Rates are the 2 requirements to manage taxes.
Installed by default, they list the various taxe classes and rates. Tax Rates are required first to setup Tax Classes. More can be added if required.
Tax Local Rates are different and are used to setup product prices including or excluding taxes. They are specific to your country of business.

Countries & Zones:
All current Countries and Zones (Regions of each country) are already built-in. The Default country will be the one you selected in your Admin Settings.
Again, do not Remove them if you don't need them! Simply Disable them.

Weight Class:
Kilogram (Kg) and Pound (Lb) are standard weight classes and are already included, but other weight units can be added in your Admin if required.

Length Class:
Meter and Feet are standard length classes and are already included, but other length units can be added in your Admin if required.
