Installation
Installing NivoCart from scratch.STEP 1: Download the latest version of NivoCart.
STEP 2: Create a new empty database on your server.
- Choose a short Name.
- Choose a Server Connection Collation. If unsure, use "utf8mb4_general_ci".
- Check that you have User Permissions for accessing the database. If unsure, ask your Hosting provider.
STEP 3: Upload the NivoCart Zip package to your server.
STEP 4: Unzip the NivoCart Zip package to your server, at the root or in the folder of your choice.
STEP 5: Navigate to where your unzipped files are and rename the files "config-dist.php" to "config.php".
The first of two files is located at the root and the second is located inside the "admin" folder.
STEP 6: In your browser, enter the http:// address of your site in the Url bar at the top, then add "/install/index.php" after it.
Enter to Start the installation.
STEP 7: Follow the Instructions on screen.
For further instructions on how to Install NivoCart, open the file "install.txt" located inside the package, in your text editor.
