Custom Menus
CUSTOM MENUSNivoCart has two Menus built-in, the "Menu Horizontal" and the "Menu Vertical". These are Modules and can be found under "Extensions > Modules" in the Administration.
Both Menu modules do not directly use a built-in set of links. They retrieve any list that has been created under "Design > Menu". This means that you can have a different set of menu links per page if you wish, or even no menu at all.
By having an independent Menu Creator tool instead of each Menu having a set list of links built-in, allows you to make quick updates easily and propagate them instantly to all menus displaying that list.
Text Direction
The "Menu Horizontal" is designed to support Left-to-Right (LTR) and Right-to-Left (RTL) languages.
Custom Theme
The Menus configuration pages allows you to modify the way the complete menu looks. On top of the 2 default themes (Light and Dark), NivoCart features two lists of built-in custom colors and shapes CSS modifiers.
These lists include 32 colors and 6 shapes. The 32 colors have a contrasting text color attached to them to keep everything displaying correctly (lighter colors will have a dark text and darker colors will have a white text).
The Shapes are basically rounded corners, allowing to display the whole menu from square to 11 pixels rounded corners. To complete the custom design choices on the menus, the footer block has also the same customization options, so it can be matched for consistency in the overall page design.
