Understanding the Layout
THE FRONT END LAYOUTThe default NivoCart Front End Layout has been designed to be as flexible as possible. Each page can be displayed with its specific layout ranging from 1 to 3 colums style, using 6 optional blocks, as explained in the Layout Positions documentation sub-section.
The standard webpage
The standard page will always be composed of 3 essential blocks:
- Header
- Content
- Footer
These 3 blocks will always be in that order and use the full available width of the page, as defined in the stylesheet.
The optional blocks
The 6 optional blocks are wrapped around the Content and will transform the way the page content is being displayed.

- content_high
- content_left
- content_right
- content_low
- content_lower
